Monto Muster - 23rd, 24, 25th September, 2022

Monto Muster 2022 is done and dusted for another year and great success with at least 50 participants coming from the various areas of Qld plus John Ingle from Sydney.
Our group of 7 left Carseldine on Thursday morning in pouring rain riding through the Sunshine Coast hinterland headed for Biggenden where we would overnight and where we met Geoff from Brisbane and Fred from Toowoomba. Twice we stopped to perform running repairs and were fortunately able to continue on. Friday morning after breakfast Tom left us to return to Brisbane and the rest carried on to Monto via Paradise Dam, Boolboonda Tunnel and Mt Perry.
Thanks to Phil Heggie as Coordinator and to the area reps, Peter Douglas from Mackay, Mark Clark from Sunshine Coast and Eric Leah from Brisbane for organising a great weekend of motorcycling and socialising. Thanks also to the sponsors including the VJMC for the various prizes that were handed out on Saturday night after dinner. Thanks also to all the members, wives and partners who participated with great enthusiasm.
