VJMC Ride Wednesday 29th January 2025
Get ready to participate in this ride being run by Sam Bateman; thanks Sam, in familiar settings for some and some great roads with a high likelihood of excellent weather!
Meet at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM start at 307 Diamond Creek Rd Greensborough.
Sam has made it very clear with his map attached and will be riding anti-clockwise with a return to base plan.

If you missed our last ride on the 8th January, it was excellent with a start at Tooradin, the McDonalds track to Paterson's Rd, Loch and then one of my favourite roads, the Loch Wonthaggi Rd to the State Coal mine in the heart of Wonthaggi. It is a village of history down there and well worth a visit. A number of us joined an underground tour which gave a very informative insight as to what it was like working in the mines. Horrific working conditions, many accidents and deaths and a life expectancy well below the general population.
